Job Description

We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to join President University Foundation. Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of both stand-alone and consolidated financial statements for all entities.
  2. Ensure all financial recording aligns with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) or IFRS.
  3. Manage and oversee the intercompany transactions and reconciliation process, ensuring all cross-entity balances match and are recorded correctly.
  4. Present periodic financial statement performance reports to management committee with comprehensive analyses.
  5. Oversee all daily accounting functions, including AP, AR, GL, and Fixed Assets across all entities.
  6. Evaluate and continuously improve financial and accounting SOPs.
  7. Ensure comply with current Indonesian tax regulations in a timely manner (tax compliance)
  8. Lead the preparation process of the Annual Budget, Forecasting, and Long-Term Business Plans for each unit and on a consolidated basis.
  9. Conduct variance analysis (budget vs. actuals) and provide actionable recommendations to reduce operational costs or improve profit margins.
  10. Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors to ensure a smooth annual audit process across all entities.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. A Master's Degree or Professional Certification in Accounting/Finance/Management is a strong plus.
  2. Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or head-level position.
  3. In-depth understanding of PSAK and the latest Indonesian tax regulations.
  4. Highly proficient in preparing and analyzing consolidated financial statements.
  5. Experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
  6. Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage large teams across different business units.
  7. Sharp analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, able to perform well under pressure with tight deadlines.
  8. Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to translate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
