Job Description

HHP Law Firm is one of the leading law firms in Indonesia, with more than three decades of local experience. We frequently collaborate with other member firms around the world to deliver seamlessly integrated solutions across borders and practices.

We are currently seeking an Accounting Supervisor who will report directly to the Accounting Manager.

The details of the tasks are as follows:

  • Responsible for accounting statutory financial reports by maintaining, preparing and recording journal entries for day-to-day accounting transactions, including revenue, costs, accounts payable/receivable, balance sheet and general ledger in the statutory accounting system
  • General accounting tasks, including reconciling and maintaining balance sheet accounts and general ledger operations, preparing journal entries, preparing monthly closing and financial reports, preparing account/bank reconciliations related to statutory financial reports
  • Preparing and producing monthly and yearly statutory financial reports (profit and loss accounts, balance sheets), including the reconciliation and necessary supporting financial reports
  • Preparing and ensuring that all general accounting policies and procedures comply with the prevailing Statements of Financial Accounting Principles in statutory financial reports.
  • Regularly liaising and collaborating with other members of the finance team on reconciliation items such as tax, billing, collection and Payable team
  • Ensuring appropriate financial accounting documentation of policies and processes is in place

Applicants must have the following qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting with a minimum GPA of 3.00
  • Minimum three years of accounting work experience in international or multinational companies/firms
  • Previous experience working as an Audited Accountant is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAGE and SAP Financial Management Systems will be an advantage
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft literate, like Excel and Word)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
