Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for an Accounting Officer in Bali, Indonesia. The Accounting Officer remains essential to ensure continuity of daily accounting operations, including transaction processing, reconciliation, reporting support, and compliance with internal controls.

All About the Accounting Officer:

1. Solid experience in accounting in a related firm or a public accounting firm will be preferred.
2. Understanding of financial statements and journal entries.
3. Familiar with ERP systems (experience with Odoo is an advantage).
4. Accurately record financial transactions in the ERP system (e.g., Odoo) and ensure proper account coding and supporting documentation.
5. Review and verify vendor invoices and supporting documents for accuracy, completeness, and proper expense classification.
6. Maintain receivable records, prepare aging reports, and support reconciliation of AR balances with the general ledger.
7. Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies between bank statements and accounting records.
8. Prepare and maintain reconciliation schedules for prepaid expenses, accruals, advances, intercompany balances, and other balance sheet accounts.
9. Able to speak English & tech-savvy
10. Willing to be based in Kediri, Tabanan, Bali
