Today, We are seeking a Accounting Officer
About Accounting Officer:
- Accurately record financial transactions in the ERP system (e.g., Odoo) and ensure proper account coding and supporting documentation.
- Review and verify vendor invoices and supporting documents for accuracy, completeness, and proper expense classification.
- Maintain receivable records, prepare aging reports, and support reconciliation of AR balances with the general ledger.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies between bank statements and accounting records.
- Prepare and maintain reconciliation schedules for prepaid expenses, accruals, advances, intercompany balances, and other balance sheet accounts.
- Maintain the fixed asset register, support depreciation entries, and assist in periodic asset verification.
- Prepare journal entries, ensure completeness of accruals and adjustments, and support timely monthly and year-end closing.
- Provide accounting data required for tax reporting and assist in preparing schedules and documents for internal and external audits.
- Ensure adherence to accounting policies, maintain proper filing of financial documents, and escalate issues to the Chief Accountant when necessary.
- Generate departmental reports by extracting data from the ERP system, allocating expenses and income accordingly, and sharing them with the respective department heads.
