Job Description

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing full loop accounts of Lazada Indonesia companies.
  • Manage the monthly closing for accounts and preparation of annual financial reports supporting all stakeholders within or outside of Finance.
  • Ensuring that all group financial reports are meet for month/quarter/year-end financial closing including perform analysis to Regional Finance with timeline.
  • Review of journal for bank reconciliation entries, inter-company transactions, accruals, revenue recognition and preparation of variance analysis and collaborate with share service team including prepare a tax report.
  • Work closely with stakeholders such as Commercial/Marketing Solution team/Warehouse/Operation team in order to smoothen Finance operation process and support business initiative project by and providing accounting advice on business initiatives, accounting changes.
  • Ensures on-going compliance with corporate policies and procedures related to finance and accounting.
  • Coordinate and provide support to external auditor for ID financial statement.
  • Optimize processes and performance.
  • Develops, implements and maintains systems, procedures and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines/SOX.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and other reviews to managements in any related tasks as assigned.
  • On ad hoc basis, participate in projects and support the business and finance activities including system implementation and process standardization.
  • Provides timely communications as directed to key stakeholders and governmental agencies.
  • Discuss company-wide concerns to support improving company performance and execute the required actions.
  • Provide opportunity to grow, demonstrate career path plans and development plans.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, or higher. At least 5-7 years work experience in finance/accounting department, of which at least 5 years in Managerial level or more.
  • Experience working in a large, multinational company is advantage.
  • Audit background and SAP experience is highly desirable.
  • Has a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and can participate in a broad spectrum of accounting/financial reporting responsibilities.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and a solid understanding of the activities performed in the entire finance function.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills (Fluent in English is a must), the ability to conduct meetings and present ideas to groups of colleagues.
  • Self-starter who brings energy, enthusiasm and a positive attitude to every responsibility task.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate flexibility as priorities change.
  • Team player who has the ability to establish positive and productive working relationships with others in the group.
  • Must be innovative
