About the Role

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to take ownership of the company's accounting functions across multiple business units within the group. This role requires hands-on experience in end-to-end financial reporting and multi-entity consolidation, particularly within a retail business environment.

This position is intended for candidates with a strong accounting background who are capable of independently reviewing financial reports, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining financial discipline across several entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Handle financial reporting and consolidation for multiple business units or legal entities within the group
  • Review general ledger, journal entries, and accounting treatments to maintain data integrity
  • Monitor intercompany transactions and ensure proper reconciliation
  • Ensure compliance with PSAK, ETAP, and applicable accounting standards
  • Develop and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Analyze financial performance and identify efficiency improvement opportunities
  • Provide clear financial reports and explanations to management to support decision-making
  • Lead and guide the accounting team to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting, with exposure at supervisory or managerial level
  • Strong technical knowledge of PSAK and Indonesian accounting standards
  • Experience handling multiple business units/entities within a group structure
  • Prior experience in retail industry is highly preferred
  • Experience in accounting consulting firms or handling multiple client entities is an advantage
  • Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills
  • Good leadership and people management skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple entities simultaneously
