Job Description:
- Support IFRS 17 detailed design by assessing technical interpretations and proposing accounting and system solutions.
- Assist with IFRS 17 system, process, data, and transition implementation, including opening balance sheet activities.
- Document and translate regional IFRS 17 reporting requirements into local processes, controls, and accounting practices.
- Support configuration of SUN GL and sub-ledger, including posting rules, Chart of Accounts mapping, and reconciliations.
- Develop business requirements for IFRS 17 reporting, disclosure, and data architecture.
- Collaborate closely with Actuarial, Data, Systems, and regional teams across implementation phases.
- Manage assigned workstream deliverables, vendors, and stakeholder workshops to ensure timely delivery.
- Provide accounting insights and industry best practices to support IFRS 17 and PSAK 408 implementation.
Requirements:
- At least 1-3 years of experience in insurance accounting/ projects, such as Insurance Finance change management, life insurance consulting or life insurance reporting/ accountings.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills – experience working with senior executives is preferred.
- A demonstrable interest in IFRS 17.
- General Ledger implementation experience preferably SUN GL experience.
- Knowledge of Sun GL functionality is preferable.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English
- Willing to travel (although not extensively)
