Accounting & Finance Manager (Indonesia), Siam Fibre Cement

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end closing procedure, year-end closing procedure and budgeting support.
• Oversee the daily activities of the accounting department and ensuring that all major projects, month-end, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.
• Prepare for financial audit and coordinate the audit process.
• Maintains accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts and defining accounting policies and procedures.
• Guides other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy and applying observations and recommendations to operational issues.
• Maintains financial security by establishing internal controls.
• Avoids legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation, enforcing accounting regulations, and recommending new procedures.
• Manage and control subordinates to make the accounting and financial operation smoothly.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end.
• Cooperate with HQ and group company for Financial and Accounting issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree at least in Accounting or any related field.
• At least 10 years of work experience in finance and accounting within any manufacturing industry.
• At least 2 years of management experience in a position such as assistant finance and accounting manager or higher within any manufacturing industry.
• Able to perform month-end and year-end closing processes and prepare all necessary documents independently.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, finance, and management.
• Experience in financial auditing and coordinating audit processes.
• Capable of overseeing financial statements, including budget reporting.
• Conversational-level English proficiency.
• Be able to work at Indonesia. (allowance provided)
