Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for an Accounting professional with strong IFRS 17 / PSAK 117 experience to support the Company's financial reporting compliance and the effective implementation of PSAK 117. This role will be responsible for supporting financial data management, reconciliation processes, PSAK 117 system implementation, and financial statement disclosures. The position will work closely with the Head of Accounting, IFRS 17 team, actuarial team, external auditors, and consultants to ensure accurate, reliable, and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1.PSAK 117 Data & System Support

  • Manage DWH data and input data required for PSAK 117 data processing in the FIS actuarial system.
  • Support the preparation and validation of data for PSAK 117 measurement and reporting processes.
  • Ensure insurance contract portfolios are appropriately classified based on the applicable measurement models: PAA, GMM, and VFA.
  • Ensure each policy is appropriately reflected in the relevant measurement model within the fact transaction process.

2.Data Reconciliation

  • Perform reconciliation between DWH Core and Non-Core data.
  • Perform reconciliation of system-generated journal outputs from the PSAK 117 process.
  • Perform reconciliation between:
  • DWH and Fact Transaction
  • DWH and Trial Balance (TB)
  • Fact Transaction and Trial Balance (TB)
  • Prepare reconciliation reports based on Group of Contracts (GOC) for each applicable measurement model, particularly GMM and VFA.
  • Reconcile actuarial summaries against Contract Liabilities and Contract Assets.
  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve data discrepancies to ensure accurate and consistent reporting.

3.Financial Reporting & Disclosure

  • Prepare financial statement disclosures for OJK regulatory reporting.
  • Prepare financial statement disclosures for external audit reporting.
  • Ensure disclosure reports are accurate, reliable, consistent with the Trial Balance, and submitted within the required deadlines.
  • Ensure reconciliation reports are completed and available before the financial closing process.

4.Audit & Project Support

  • Support the Head of Accounting and IFRS 17 team in coordinating with external auditors and consultants.
  • Provide required data, analysis, reconciliation, and documentation for audit and related PSAK 117 projects.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving issues arising during PSAK 117 implementation and related projects.
  • Support continuous improvement of accounting and reporting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Key Success Indicators

Success in this role will be measured by the ability to:

  • Ensure all insurance policies are appropriately classified under PAA, GMM, or VFA in the fact transaction process.
  • Prepare accurate GOC reconciliation reports for GMM and VFA.
  • Ensure there are no unexplained differences between DWH and Fact Transaction data.
  • Ensure there are no unexplained differences between DWH and Trial Balance transactions.
  • Ensure there are no unexplained differences between Fact Transaction and Trial Balance transactions.
  • Produce reconciliation reports accurately and before the financial closing deadline.
  • Deliver accurate and reliable OJK disclosures on a timely basis.
  • Ensure audit disclosures are fully aligned with the recorded Trial Balance.
  • Provide timely and accurate support to the Head of Accounting in fulfilling auditor requests and supporting related projects.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Accounting.

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in IFRS 17 / PSAK 117 projects.
  • Experience in insurance accounting, financial reporting, data reconciliation, or PSAK 117 implementation will be highly valued.

Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of PSAK, particularly PSAK 117 / IFRS 17.
  • Understanding of PSAK standards related to financial instruments and financial reporting.
  • Basic understanding of insurance accounting and financial statement analysis.
  • Knowledge of OJK regulations and relevant insurance industry requirements.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Strong data analysis and reconciliation skills.
  • Ability to prepare financial reports and management presentations.
  • Strong attention to data accuracy and consistency.
