Accounting & Tax Intern

About the role

You keep the books for GTMLab's three entities and prepare their tax. You'll work directly with the Finance Lead and see a real month-end close from start to finish.

What you'll do

• Record and categorise transactions in Xero for three entities
• Reconcile bank, card and balance sheet accounts every month
• Collect and match receipts and invoices to entries
• Help prepare the month-end close and the financial reports
• Prepare monthly tax: PPh 21, 23 and 4(2) withholding, VAT (PPN) and tax invoices
• Help file tax returns on time and keep supporting documents in order

What we're looking for

• Final-year student or fresh graduate in Accounting, Tax or Finance
• Understands debit and credit, journals, and the three financial statements
• Basic knowledge of Indonesian tax (PPh, PPN); Brevet A/B is a plus
• Comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
• Xero or other accounting software experience is a plus
• Careful with numbers and details
