Role Description This is a full-time Accountant role based in Jakarta, Indonesia, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work-from-home flexibility. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, preparing journal entries, and maintaining accurate general ledger accounts. The role involves preparing financial statements, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and monitoring cash flow to support business decisions. The Accountant will handle accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank and other accounts, and ensure compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements. This position will also support internal controls, assist with audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for GREENS growing agritech business.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, journal entry preparation, and financial statement reporting.
• Candidates should possess skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support planning and decision-making.
• Candidates should possess skills in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing.
• Candidates should possess skills related to tax compliance, regulatory reporting, and basic knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., ERP systems, Excel) and strong data accuracy skills.
• Candidates should possess strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
• Relevant bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA or local equivalent) are an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a startup environment, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate financial information clearly.
• Interest in agritech, sustainability, and GREENS mission to reduce food waste and promote hyperlocal gastronomy is highly beneficial.
