Job Description

Role Summary:

The Accounts Receivable Officer manages the day-to-day processing of payments, reconciliations, and financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in vendor payments, staff payroll, and property-related expenses, while maintaining compliance and supporting effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and send out invoices to guests and vendors using Odoo software.
  • Ensure all invoices are accurate and sent in a timely manner
  • Record and process all incoming payments.
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Handle all customer inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to resolve any billing issues or discrepancies
  • Perform regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies identified during reconciliations.
  • Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status, including aging reports.
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to support management decisions
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable transactions.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall business operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Utilize Odoo software to manage all accounts receivable functions.
  • Continuously improve processes within Odoo to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar role.
    • Prior experience in villa or property management is highly desirable.
    • Proficiency in using Odoo software is essential.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
    • High degree of professionalism and integrity.
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
