Account Receivable Senior Executive

Job Descriptions:

• Oversee daily AR operations, including sales posting, payment application, collections, and reconciliation.
• Manage end-to-end AR processes for online transactions from the company website and marketplaces (Shopee, Tokopedia, Lazada, Blibli, TikTok Shop, etc.).
• Perform sales posting into the accounting/ERP system accurately and on time, including recording of sales, payment, and commission/platform fee transactions from each website and marketplace platform.
• Reconcile sales data against payments (settlements/payouts), platform fees, commissions, returns, and bank mutations, and perform monthly reconciliation between marketplace reports, bank receipts, and GL postings.
• Process, validate, and cleanse large datasets (big data), including data matching and analysis.
• Monitor outstanding balances, investigate and resolve discrepancies or anomalies in transactions through to completion, and ensure timely follow-up with relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate with the Marketplace team to ensure completeness of tax invoices (Faktur Pajak) received every month to avoid loss of 11% VAT credit.
• Work closely with the Accounting and Tax teams to ensure all entries are aligned with tax treatment and accounting standards (PSAK/GAAP).
• Coordinate with Finance, Tax, Operations, and E-commerce teams on data queries and discrepancy resolution.
• Prepare periodic reconciliation reports, sales recaps (daily/weekly/monthly), and AR performance reports for management review, and support month-end closing.
• Support internal and external audit requirements related to marketplace and website AR.
• 12. Identify process gaps and propose improvement initiatives for efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, accounting, or finance operations, preferably in the retail industry with exposure to e-commerce or marketplace transactions.
• Proven experience handling online transactions (marketplace and website), including order flow, platform fees/commissions, vouchers, shipping costs, returns, and settlements.
• Solid understanding of sales accounting, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (PSAK) and tax regulations, especially VAT (PPN).
• Comfortable working with big data (tens to hundreds of thousands of transaction rows).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, Power Query); experience with NAV or Business Central is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills across functions.
