About the Role
As an Account Officer (Lending), you will be at the forefront of driving the Bank's lending growth. Your role is to acquire, develop, and manage a customer portfolio by providing tailored credit solutions that fit their financial and business needs. You will also play a key part in ensuring customer loyalty through proactive service, cross-selling, and long-term relationship building.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Acquire and develop potential debtors (individuals or businesses) to achieve lending portfolio targets.
- Identify customer financing needs and propose suitable credit products (working capital, investment, etc.).
- Prepare comprehensive credit proposals covering financial analysis, repayment schemes, and risk mitigation.
- Conduct business visits to assess customers conditions and business prospects.
- Ensure complete documentation and coordinate with supporting units (legal, risk, credit review).
- Monitor loan portfolio performance, repayment, and early warning indicators.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and identify cross-selling or repeat financing opportunities.
- Collaborate with Funding Officers to grow branch deposit (DPK) portfolios.
- Provide regular reporting on pipeline, portfolio, and key risk issues.
- Handle customer escalations to ensure excellent service delivery.
About You
We are looking for a results-driven and customer-focused professional who:
- Holds a Bachelor's degree (S1) in any major.
- Has minimum 2 years of experience in marketing within the banking industry.
- Possesses strong knowledge of banking policies, loan products, and credit principles.
- Understands risk assessment and credit analysis.
- Brings an existing customer network (preferred).
- Has excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Is proactive, analytical, and target-oriented with a strong business acumen.
