Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Academic Advisor at BPK PENABUR Jakarta in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Academic Advisor will be responsible for conducting student investigation, consultation, and guidance to help students navigate higher education pathways, university selections, and major choices. The role involves mentoring students through academic or personal challenges, tracking application deadlines and progress, supporting essay and letter writing, and driving university outreach and partnership efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience in student counseling, consultation, and investigation
• Proactive drive to build and maintain university connections
• Ability or willingness to learn higher education and career counseling
• Experience mentoring students through personal, emotional, or academic challenges
• Skilled in guiding student essays, motivation, and recommendation letters
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology (Master's preferred)
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Open to fresh graduates and expatriates
