Keelboat Sailing Instructors

Share the joy of sailing with others as a keelboat instructor teaching Sail Canada keelboat educational programs with the club.

There is a range of opportunities for keelboat instructors with the Club based on your interests and availability:

Group or private lessons.
Experience Sailing Adventures, Women, Wind and Wine, Boys, Boats and Beers
Keelboat Instructor Pathway (outlines prerequisites)
SKS Instructor Standard (required to teach GSC Start Keelboat Sailing course)
Basic Cruising Instructor Standard (required to teach GSC Keelboat Skipper course)
GSC's keelboat education pathway
GSC teaches 3x per week - M/T, R/F, S/S - each course has a 2 hour online session 3 or 4 days ahead of the boat time at the reservoir
Sail Canada PDF and video session about becoming an instructor

We work with Keelboat Instructor candidates to obtain Sail Canada certification.
