Secret 6 is looking for a 3D Rigging Artist with 3 to 5 years of experience in video game development. We are focused on delivering the highest-quality co-development, QA, and 3D art production for our clients and are looking for candidates who share our dedication to excellence.
Responsibilities
Rigging of characters and props from scratch
Applying muscle deformation/correctives
Ensuring smooth and believable movement in line with anatomy and physics
Participating with developers and animators to enhance workflow and pipeline
Working closely with modelers and animators to ensure an asset is efficiently rigged and capable of a full range of motion with fine levels of control and usability
Effectively support 2D concept art to ensure the feasibility of art development for 3D
Collaborating and participating in any necessary meetings, teams, and activities related to the assigned project
Delivering high-quality output that meets technical quality standards

Requirements:
At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience.
Strong understanding of biped and quadruped anatomy with the ability to rig organic and hard surface models.
Knowledge of physics principles relevant to animation.
Extensive understanding of forward kinematics, inverse kinematics, and hierarchical constraints.
Proficiency in Maya, with expertise in rigging tools.
Understanding logic on scripting languages (MEL, Python).
Knowledgeable in Unity and Unreal.
Exceptional problem-solving skills, including technical knowledge of troubleshooting game-related issues.
Knowledge of game production pipelines.
Displays good character and a strong work ethic.
Nice to have:
Basic 3D Animation skills and experience.
Proficiency in 3D Studio Max and Blender.
Capacity to develop tools and plugins to streamline the animation process.
