From inspiring teammates to exceptional support – we offer graduate and internship roles across multiple areas.

Our internships

Make an impact on cutting-edge projects. Help find solutions to complex challenges. Be part of a company that invests in you and your growth. You can do it all as an intern at bp. Our 12-week summer programme gives you the opportunity to build your technical knowledge, develop key skills and learn more about life at bp. You'll be part of one team throughout your internship, supported by a dedicated line manager and buddy. There'll be opportunities to connect with other interns, take part in training and grow your network across the business.

During your internship you'll be a member of one of our onshore teams in one of the Drilling, Completions, Intervention or Integrity sub-disciplines, which look after how our Wells are designed, constructed, maintained and operated. As part of that team you'll be expected to use your initiative, problem solving, collaborative and organisational skills under the guidance of an experienced engineer, to deliver the solution to a challenging project that addresses one of the issues that your team faces

Working on task and supporting your squad to find the best solutions
Helping to maintain performance within your squad and for bp as a company
Building relationships within bp, collaborating across functions and squads to deliver excellence
Demonstrating agility, initiative and dedication through the bp Who We Are.

During your internship you'll get continuous feedback and guidance on how to plan and deliver your assigned project or task, along with advice on what to look for and who to talk to. You'll also be encouraged, individually and together with your Intern peer group, to find out as much as possible about other teams, disciplines and operations to broaden your understanding of the bp business. And successful interns may get an opportunity to rejoin as a graduate the following year.
