As the company continues expanding across Southeast Asia, they are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Executive who can identify new opportunities, manage complex enterprise sales cycles, and build long-term relationships with strategic clients.

Job Role

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving new business growth across Southeast Asia by identifying, engaging, and converting enterprise accounts into long-term clients.

This role covers the full B2B sales cycle, from prospecting and lead qualification through product demonstrations, proposal development, negotiation, and closing. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders at enterprise clients and collaborate with Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and Pre-Sales teams to deliver solutions that address client business challenges.

The ideal candidate is an independent, commercially minded sales professional with strong enterprise selling experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage long sales cycles and complex technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and prioritize potential enterprise accounts across the local market and Southeast Asia through outbound and inbound sales strategies.
Build relationships with mid-to-senior-level stakeholders and understand their business requirements, challenges, and technology needs.
Manage the end-to-end B2B sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, product demonstrations, proposals, negotiation, and closing.
Present and position AI-powered SaaS and enterprise technology solutions based on client requirements and business objectives.
Develop customized sales presentations, proposals, and pitch materials based on local market dynamics.
Manage complex and long sales cycles while maintaining strong engagement with multiple stakeholders.
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and ensure accurate and timely CRM updates.
Provide regular visibility on pipeline development, deal progress, forecasts, and business opportunities.
Coordinate with Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and Pre-Sales teams to ensure smooth sales execution and client onboarding.
Develop long-term relationships with enterprise clients through structured follow-ups, business insights, and ongoing value creation.
Monitor market trends, competitive developments, and emerging opportunities within enterprise SaaS, AI, and digital technology.

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Technology, or a related field; candidates from top-tier universities are preferred.
Minimum 2–5+ years of experience in B2B Sales or Business Development, preferably within enterprise SaaS, technology platforms, or complex digital products.
Proven experience managing long enterprise sales cycles, preferably 6 months or longer, with experience handling high-value deals of USD 100,000+.
Experience selling enterprise software or SaaS solutions such as HR systems, customer data platforms, sales force automation, document management systems, or similar solutions.
Proven track record of owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation and closing.
Strong experience engaging and negotiating with mid-to-senior-level enterprise stakeholders.
Strong understanding of consultative selling, account development, pipeline management, and enterprise sales strategies.
Familiarity with AI-powered sales tools, agentic AI, or SaaS platforms with embedded AI features is preferred.
Experience selling to CPG, FMCG, retail, or other enterprise verticals is an advantage.
Fluent English and local language proficiency, with the ability to navigate both local business culture and multinational environments.
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, relationship-building, and business development skills.
Self-driven, independent, and comfortable working remotely with strong time management and sales pipeline discipline.
MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
