Responsibilities

Perform daily and monthly fund accounting activities, including net asset value (NAV) calculations, unit pricing, and financial reporting
Reconcile fund accounts and transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, regulatory filings, and other client reporting requirements
Collaborate with investment managers, administrators, and other stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies or issues
Provide support for fund launches, mergers, and other corporate actions - Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy of fund accounting operations
Maintain detailed documentation and records of all fund accounting activities

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in fund accounting or a similar role within the financial services industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
Proficient in the use of financial software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg)
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with various stakeholders
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in fund accounting
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
