TECHNICAL PRODUCT MANAGER

Filtec Group is a company specializing in industrial filtration solutions, engineering products, spare parts supply, and technical services for various industries, including manufacturing, power generation, oil & gas, heavy equipment, and industrial processing.

As part of our business expansion and product development initiatives, we are looking for an experienced and technically strong professional to join our team as TECHNICAL PRODUCT MANAGER.

This role is primarily focused on technical product management (70%), combined with commercial and business development activities (30%). The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of industrial products, the ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions, and an established network within relevant industries.

Product Scope

The position will be responsible for managing and developing industrial products, including:

- Dust Collector & Industrial Dust Collection Systems

- Screw Compressor & Compressor Systems

- HVAC Systems & Components

- Heavy Equipment & Off-Road Vehicle Filters

- Compressor Filters & Air Filtration Systems

- Lubricant / Lube Oil Filters

- Oil Separators & Air/Oil Separators

- After Filters / Pressurized Dry Filters

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and develop assigned industrial product lines, including product knowledge, technical specifications, applications, and market positioning.

- Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements and provide appropriate technical product solutions.

- Identify potential applications, industries, and market opportunities for assigned products.

- Conduct product research, market analysis, competitor analysis, and identify opportunities for product development.

- Provide technical consultation and product recommendations to customers based on their operational and engineering requirements.

- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution proposals to customers.

- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Suppliers, and other relevant teams to develop customized solutions.

- Support the sales team in handling technically complex customer requirements and projects.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, principals, suppliers, and key industry stakeholders.

- Develop and maintain a strong customer and market database for assigned product categories.

- Monitor product performance, customer feedback, market trends, and competitor activities.

- Support pricing, quotation, product positioning, and commercial strategies based on market conditions.

- Identify new business opportunities and convert technical opportunities into commercial opportunities.

- Conduct customer visits, site surveys, technical discussions, and business meetings when required.

- Develop and maintain an established network within relevant industries to support business growth.

Key Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant Engineering fields.

- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Technical Product Management, Product Specialist, Product Development, Technical Sales, Application Engineering, Business Development, or similar roles.

- Strong technical understanding of industrial equipment, filtration systems, compressors, HVAC, dust collection systems, or heavy equipment components.

- Experience in handling B2B industrial products and engineering solutions.

- Strong ability to understand technical specifications, product applications, and customer requirements.

- Able to communicate technical concepts and translate them into practical and commercially viable solutions.

- Existing customer relationships, industry networks, or an established customer database are highly preferred.

- Experience working with industries such as manufacturing, heavy equipment, oil & gas, power generation, mining, construction, automotive, or industrial processing is highly preferred.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

- Commercially aware with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.

- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

- Willing to travel for customer visits, site surveys, business meetings, and project requirements.
