We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Legal Assistant Manager to support the organisation in managing legal operations, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, contracts administration, and litigation matters. This role serves as a key business partner, working closely with internal stakeholders, regulatory authorities, external counsels, vendors, contractors, consultants, and business partners to ensure legal and compliance requirements are effectively managed.

The Legal Assistant Manager will play a critical role in coordinating contract management activities, corporate secretarial matters, permits and licensing processes, legal proceedings, and integrity programs while ensuring alignment with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. The successful candidate should possess strong legal acumen, stakeholder management capabilities, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This role will need to be performed with dignity, integrity and diligent: upheld and preserve strict confidentiality of organisational and data privacy and legal matters, in assisting Legal Manager for the following areas :

Contracts Management : prepare listings of contracts/agreements, review and finalize for signing with final approval review by the Legal Manager, taking notes of legal advice and comments of the Legal Manager, assemble meetings for contract negotiations with vendors, suppliers, contractors, consultants, partner until signing execution by counterparts.
Corporate Legal matters : prepare necessary documents for the Legal Manager in conducting General Meetings of Shareholders, Circular Resolutions of Shareholders, execute documents after final review by Legal Manager with relevant Department related with legal advisory, contracts management meets Project timelines (draft, proofread, and file or send relevant legal documents to internal and external).
Permits & Licenses; assisting Legal Manager in processing application of licenses, permits, certifications, approvals & recommendations. Coordinate with both internal external person in charge, on-line meetings and off-line meetings, via telephone & via email.
Litigation process; prepare documentation in assisting Legal Manager as advocate during legal proceedings either civil action or criminal action brought in a court of law; cross examination when the plaintiff claiming to have suffered a loss because of the defendant's actions, demands legal or remedies, including maintain case files.
Training & Inductions: assisting Legal Manager for the implementation Legal Knowledge Sharing Training & Business Integrity Inductions

Qualifications :

Well versed in English
Willing to relocated and work from Sei Mangkei, North Sumatera
Bachelor of Law degree, advantage if possess Notary backgound or PKPA Advocate license.
Proficient in updating data in OSS-RBA from the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) system.
Diligently review contracts and relevant binding legal documents (contract management).
Possesses integrity values, trustworthy, reliable, diligent, and resilient (doesn't easily give up), good interpersonal skill, positive attitude, assertive, adaptable, and solutions oriented.
