Position Summary

PT Intercipta Kimia Pratama, an APP Group company specializing in specialty chemicals for the pulp and paper industry, is seeking a Manager Sales & Marketing to drive business growth and strengthen customer partnerships. The role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing key customer relationships, providing technical sales support, and leading the Sales & Marketing team. Working closely with customers and internal teams, this position helps deliver effective chemical solutions while supporting product development through market insights and customer feedback.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Identify and develop new business opportunities and customers.
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to support long-term business growth.
Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and periodic performance reports.

Customer & Technical Support

Visit customers regularly to understand their needs and provide technical support.
Recommend suitable product applications and help resolve customer issues.
Coordinate product trials and application evaluations with customers and internal teams.
Conduct product presentations and technical discussions when required.

Product & Market Development

Gather customer feedback and market insights to support product improvement and new product development.
Work closely with R&D and Production to ensure products meet customer requirements.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.

Leadership & Collaboration

Lead, coach, and support the Sales & Marketing team to achieve business objectives.
Coordinate with Production, R&D, and other internal departments to ensure excellent customer service.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and business partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Pulp & Paper Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Sales, Technical Sales, Business Development, Key Account Management, or Marketing within B2B manufacturing or industrial sectors.
Experience in one or more of the following industries is preferred (Specialty Chemicals, Industrial Chemicals, Pulp & Paper, Paper Chemicals, Water Treatment Chemicals, Packaging, Coatings & Adhesives, Manufacturing or Process Industries)
Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Willing to travel frequently to customer sites.
