We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Manager, Payroll Services. Reporting to the Head of Payroll Services, this full-time and permanent position is based in Indonesia and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Service Delivery team and its growth.

Key responsibilities:

Leadership & Operations:

Manage and supervise end-to-end payroll processes for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with SLAs and local labor laws.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, internal teams, and external vendors regarding payroll and employee benefits.

Compliance & Accuracy:

Ensure correct payroll calculations, tax deductions (PPh 21), BPJS contributions, and adherence to Indonesian labor regulations.
Handle internal and external audits related to payroll data and processes.

Process Improvement & Implementation:

Lead payroll system implementation projects and ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
Analyze existing workflows and propose enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and operational performance.
Develop and maintain payroll policies, procedures, and documentation.

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust in payroll services.
Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Key requirements:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in payroll management, preferably within a BPO or professional services environment.
Brevet A & B certification is mandatory.
Experience in client relationship management and payroll system implementation is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of Indonesian payroll regulations, tax laws (PPh 21), and BPJS compliance.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll software; ability to manage and analyze payroll data effectively.
Technologically savvy and quick to adapt to new systems and tools.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and deliver results under pressure.
