About the Role

As a Cost Accountant, you are responsible to monitor, analyze, and report cost variances, inventory valuation, and manufacturing efficiencies to support financial planning and operational decision-making.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven solid experience in Cost Accounting for 3+ yearsin a factory or manufacturing environment.
Able to speak in English OR Mandarin.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in personnel management or part-time cashier duties is a plus.
Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
Willing to be placed in Kendal.

Responsibilities:

Analyze and track product costs, labor, material, and overhead expenses.
Maintain and update cost accounting systems and records.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports and margin analysis.
Monitor standard costs and update them as necessary based on product changes.
Analyze production cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and purchasing teams to ensure accurate cost data.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts related to manufacturing costs.
Perform inventory analysis and support annual physical inventory processes.
Reconcile inventory accounts and investigate discrepancies.
Support internal and external audits with relevant documentation.
