Ph.D. programme in Materials Science, Chemical Science and Biological Science.<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Eligibility criteria for Integrated Ph.D Programme:<\/strong><\/p><ul>\n<li class=\"fullstorybullets\"><strong>Materials Science<\/strong>: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in any branch of Science. Those with Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering with an aptitude towards scientific research will also be considered. Candidates are expected to have sound knowledge in the fundamentals of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.<\/li>\n<li class=\"fullstorybullets\"><strong>Chemical Science<\/strong>: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in any branch of Science with Chemistry as a major.<\/li>\n<li class=\"fullstorybullets\"><strong>Biological Science<\/strong>: a) Evolutionary and Organismal Biology: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in any branch of Science\/Mathematics\/Statistics. Those with Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering with an aptitude towards scientific research will also be considered. b) Molecular Biology and Genetics: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in any branch of Science.<\/li>\n<li class=\"fullstorybullets\"><strong>For all the above Int. Ph.D programmes<\/strong>, candidates should have a minimum of 55% marks at the Bachelor&rsquo;s level. Candidates who are appearing for the final examination this year can also apply.<\/li>\n<\/ul><p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Eligibility for Ph.D:<\/strong> Candidates with an M Sc., B E, B Tech, M E, M Tech or MBBS are eligible to apply, should have at least 50% in their highest University examination, and should also have qualified in the GATE\/ UGC &ndash; CSIR &ndash; NET, JRF\/ ICMR, JRF\/ JEST\/ or any other equivalent national level examination. Candidates with a Master&rsquo;s degree in Engineering\/ Technology\/ Medicine do not require a qualifying exam. However, the M E\/ M Tech qualified students need to specify their valid GATE score at the time of applying.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Eligibility for M.S.:<\/strong> Candidates with an M Sc., B E, B Tech, M E, M Tech or MBBS are eligible to apply, should have at least 50% in their highest University examination, and should also have qualified in the GATE\/ UGC &ndash; CSIR &ndash; NET, JRF\/ ICMR, JRF\/ JEST \/ or any other equivalent national level entrance examination.
